What's the difference between a claw machine and a prize crane?
Nothing, really. Claw machine, prize crane, crane game, arcade grabber and teddy grabber are all names for the same arcade game: guests steer a claw over the prizes, drop it and try to grab something. We use the names interchangeably.
How much does claw machine hire cost?
Prize crane hire starts from £595 + VAT for a day. The final price depends on how many machines you need, the length of your event, where it is, and whether you'd like custom branding or prizes supplied. Send us your details for a fixed quote.
Are prizes included?
Every machine comes with clear capsules ready to fill. Most clients fill them with their own merchandise, samples, vouchers or sweets. We can also source plush toys and prizes for you at an extra cost.
Can you set the machine so everyone wins?
Yes. The win rate is adjustable. Choose a guaranteed win for every player, a set ratio such as one win in every few goes, or leave it as a true game of skill.
Does the machine need coins or can it be free to play?
Most events run on free play, so guests just press start. We can also set it to take tokens or credits if you want to control how many goes each person gets.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes. Our crew delivers, sets up, tests and collects every machine, working to venue and exhibition build and breakdown times. All you need is a 13 amp socket.
Can the claw machine be branded with our logo?
Yes. We wrap the cabinet in your artwork: front, sides and header. We send print templates, you add your design (or we lay it out for you), and you approve a proof before we print.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for busy exhibition months and Christmas. For a branded machine, allow at least two weeks for artwork, proofing and printing.
Is the equipment safe and insured?
Our equipment is PAT tested and covered by public liability insurance. We can send risk assessments, method statements and insurance certificates for venue and organiser paperwork.
